The Sanctuary explores the tensions between solitude, nature, and modernity. Set within a small greenhouse structure, this is a quiet and enclosed space where viewers are invited to sit, pause, and reflect. A greenhouse, ordinarily used to protect and cultivate life, becomes here a concocted shelter. Yet this enclosure raises a quiet question: are we nurturing something within, or enclosing it for ourselves? Is this an act of intimacy or control?

Sanctuary reflects on how nature is not something out there, but entangled with us, shaped, framed, and filtered. It asks whether we, as a species, can contain it at all.
